Montana - Hundreds of H.O.G. members from across the nation will saddle up on their motorcycles to tour the American West on the Iron Pony Ride, a 2006 H.O.G. Touring Rally, from Billings, Mont., to Cody, Wyo., Aug. 21-24.
This touring rally journeys from Billings to Cody via Beartooth Pass where riders will enjoy vast landscape, adventure and scenic riding escapades. Once in Wyoming, attendees will have the benefit of taking a loop around Yellowstone National Park on Wednesday, Aug. 23, and a loop down through Meteetse to Thermopolis and back up through Worland and Grey Bull on Thursday, Aug. 24.
Once in Cody, along with great riding, enthusiasts will enjoy historical activities including the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, on Tuesday, Aug. 22. H.O.G. members will also take in a thrilling night at the rodeo on Thursday, Aug. 24, the “Rodeo Capital of the World”.
“The west is open for exploration and H.O.G. has made the west its haven this year,” notes Joe Dowd, Manager, H.O.G. Event Team. “Earlier this summer, H.O.G. hosted its CLUB H.O.G.: Wild West in Billings, Mont., and now we are able to revisit the west yet again with a touring rally that takes riders on an exclusive adventure through the vast, open country.”
