The 2016 Freewheeler brings a stripped-down, aggressive attitude to the three-wheel class, looking classically mean in high-gloss Vivid Black. Unlike its full-dressed Tri Glide sibling, the Freewheeler strips away the massive front fairing and Tour-Pak trunk for a low-slung, hot-rod cruiser silhouette. It features an open cockpit with 12-inch mini-ape hanger handlebars, a classic chrome nacelle headlight, a sleek bobtail rear trunk that offers 2 cubic feet of waterproof storage, and bold 12-spoke cast aluminum wheels.
Cruising power comes from the high-output Twin Cam 103™ V-Twin engine, pushing out 104.7 ft-lbs of heavy low-end torque through a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission. This motor features a foot-activated electric reverse gear to make parking lot maneuvers entirely effortless. The trike is engineered with a shorter frame design to ensure crisp, light steering response, and it comes standard with a linked braking system and electronic cruise control to keep highway travel comfortable and composed.
